at Christ Church in Ridgewood
(on Franklin Ave at Cottage Place)
Donations are still needed for this year's Spring Auction, which happens every two years and raises money which enriches the experiences of our children at Central School!
Please consider making a donation for this HSA fundraiser. The proceeds from this auction go directly to the HSA, helping them to fund many of the wonderful things our kids enjoy during the school year, such as:
- Enrichment assembles, visiting authors and artists, and lunchtime enrichment programs
- Interwrite and "ELMO" Boards for the classrooms
- Upgraded auditorium sound system
- Outdoor classroom
- New swing set and basketball hoops
- Improvements to the school entryway
If you're not sure what to donate or how you can help, DONATE AND ASK AROUND FOR DONATIONS!!
Do you have a special talent? Assemble a gift basket or donate a service!
(e.g. scrapbook for a child/teacher/trip, dinner for 4-6 served at winner's house, nutrition counseling session, closet organization, knitting or crocheting lesson, 2-3 sports training sessions, etc.)
Does your child take lessons or a class somewhere? Next time you're there, ask if they'd like to make a donation!
Is there a business you frequent often? Ask them for a gift certificate!
Does your job give you connections for tickets or special events? (Or do you know someone who has a job with perks?) Ask for comp tickets or passes! You'd be amazed how much people and businesses are willing to give!!
Simply print out the Auction Form, fill it out or ask the person donating to fill it out, and send it into school with your child in an envelope labeled "Auction Donation." Donation forms can be found under "Forms and Flyers" or click
The Next Auction meeting will be on February 27th at 8pm.
Box Top Collection on Spirit Days at Central
There is an optional Collection Sheet Flyer to paste your Box Tops (50 per sheet) which you can download from "Forms & Flyers."
If you are wondering how best to manage the Box Tops in your home, this sheet may help!
If you want to help our committee from counting and sorting, this sheet is great!
And, if you want to help save the Environment, this sheet eliminates the use of plastic bags used to sort and submit to Box Top for Education!
This is only a suggestion, not meant to inhibit collecting and submitting loose Box Tops. We will continue to provide Collection Bins at Central on Spirit Days!!
Thank you to ALL for your participation in Box Tops for Education!!
BECOME AN ART DOCENT IN THE CLASSROOM! TIC TOC: To Introduce Culture To Our Children.TIC TOC Theater & Art is a local volunteer organization founded in 1960 that makes fine and performing arts experiences available to students in Glen Rock , Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Midland Park, and Fair Lawn.
TIC TOC has two main components: a series of three Sunday afternoon theater presentations in Ridgewood and an elementary school classroom enrichment program through which parent volunteers – also known as art docents – present famous works of art, including paintings, sculpture and historical artifacts, to children during the school day.
