School Supply Lists for 2014-15 are available here.
If your child purchased one, it will be delivered to him/her in the classroom during the first weeks of school.
If not, you can use these lists as a reference for the supplies that your child will need in his/her classroom.
First grade students should bring their supplies with them on the first day of school.
Box Top Collection on Spirit Days at Central
There is an optional Collection Sheet Flyer to paste your Box Tops (50 per sheet) which you can download from "Forms & Flyers."
If you are wondering how best to manage the Box Tops in your home, this sheet may help!
If you want to help our committee from counting and sorting, this sheet is great!
And, if you want to help save the Environment, this sheet eliminates the use of plastic bags used to sort and submit to Box Top for Education!
This is only a suggestion, not meant to inhibit collecting and submitting loose Box Tops. We will continue to provide Collection Bins at Central on Spirit Days!!
Thank you to ALL for your participation in Box Tops for Education!!
BECOME AN ART DOCENT IN THE CLASSROOM! TIC TOC: To Introduce Culture To Our Children.TIC TOC Theater & Art is a local volunteer organization founded in 1960 that makes fine and performing arts experiences available to students in Glen Rock , Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Midland Park, and Fair Lawn.
TIC TOC has two main components: a series of three Sunday afternoon theater presentations in Ridgewood and an elementary school classroom enrichment program through which parent volunteers – also known as art docents – present famous works of art, including paintings, sculpture and historical artifacts, to children during the school day.
Being a volunteer art docent is easy and fun.TIC TOC's art, sculpture and special collections rotate through Central School on an easy-to-follow schedule. Check out the TIC TOC cabinet near the auditorium to see our current special collection and the TIC TOC hallway near the nurse's office to view our current painting collections.
Dozens of resources, including links to art galleries, artists' biographies, classroom presentations, special collections, and "artcyclopedias," are available on the TIC TOC website: www.tictoc.org.Plus, seasoned TIC TOC art docents are always ready and willing to help new docents.
